The DAR team was delighted to reconnect with Ts Ooi during our Alumni Visit Series, where he shared his journey from beginning his career as a quantity surveyor to taking on new challenges, adapting to changes in the industry, and eventually building his own company.

Throughout his sharing, one message stood out: growth requires the courage to change. As the industry continues to evolve, he believes that we should not depend only on conventional ways of working. Instead, we need to keep learning, adapt to new methods, and be willing to move beyond what we are familiar with.

His journey also reminds students and fellow alumni that every experience helps shape who we become. With the right mindset and the courage to take the next step, new opportunities can lead us further than expected.
