On 26 January 2026, the Department of Alumni Relations visited Ong Ong Crystal, a local crystal brand located in SS2, Petaling Jaya. Founded in 2011 by the Goh brothers’ mother in Kepong, the family business has since grown under the leadership of Louis Goh (Finance and Investment, Class of 2021) and Matthew Goh (E-Marketing, Class of 2021), who continue to expand the brand while staying true to its roots.
With over a decade of experience, Ong Ong Crystal offers a curated selection of crystal products, including bracelets, pendants, geodes, crystal trees, and “dragon eggs.” They also provides personalized consultations inspired by the Five Elements philosophy, helping customers select crystals that align with their needs and preferences for energy, focus, and well-being.
The visit highlighted the strong presence of TAR UMT alumni within the business, who bring their skills, passion, and professionalism to various roles, contributing to the brand’s growth and success. It was inspiring to see how Louis and Matthew have applied their education and enthusiasm to the family business, continuing a legacy while embodying the spirit of innovation and excellence that defines TAR UMT alumni.
This visit was a wonderful reminder of how TARCians bring knowledge, dedication, and creativity into every industry, from local family businesses to global enterprises, leaving a lasting impact wherever they go.
