At Uncle Ken Coffee Roastery in Simpang Ampat, Penang, every cup begins with passion, patience, and a deep respect for the craft.

Founded in December 2023 by Mr Tan Ken Tit, fondly known as Uncle Ken, a proud TARCian (SPUS, Class of 1995), together with his partner Leah, the roastery reflects a journey built on dedication, humility, and heart.

From careful bean selection to precise roasting, every step is thoughtfully executed to ensure quality and consistency. In a short time, the roastery has grown into a specialty coffee and OEM supplier, with beans reaching clients such as Starbucks Reserve Singapore, as well as exports to Hong Kong and cafés across Malaysia.

Beyond its growth, what stands out most is its spirit of generosity—sharing knowledge and supporting aspiring café owners on their own journeys.
