TAR UMT is proud to feature our alumnus, Ivan Tai, a Degree in Broadcasting graduate from the Class of 2016, who has built an impressive career in the media industry over the past decade.

Starting as an intern at RTM, Ivan progressed through the ranks as a reporter, news anchor, producer, and today, a member of the newsroom management team. His dedication and excellence have earned him accolades, including a nomination for the Meletop ERA New Artist Award and the APC Excellent Service Award.

During his sharing session, Ivan reminded aspiring media professionals that success in broadcasting requires strong communication skills, sound news judgment, quick thinking, and the ability to adapt to change. He also encouraged students to embrace AI and continuous learning to stay relevant in an evolving industry.

We are proud of Ivan's achievements and grateful for his return to inspire the next generation of TARCians. His journey is a testament to how passion, perseverance, and a willingness to keep learning can open doors to endless opportunities.
