TAR UMT was delighted to welcome Mr Teng Ngiek Lian, a distinguished alumnus, for a special sharing session on "Investment Strategy in a Volatile World." Through his wealth of professional experience, Mr Teng shared practical insights into investment thinking, strategic decision-making, and navigating today's dynamic financial markets, offering students valuable perspectives beyond the classroom.

Beyond the sharing session, the event brought together many members of the TAS alumni community, with several travelling from Singapore to attend and support the occasion. Their return to campus turned the session into more than a learning experience—it became an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, relive cherished memories, and celebrate the enduring spirit of TARCian.

As students gained knowledge from an experienced alumnus, the gathering also demonstrated the lasting impact of the TARCian network, where alumni continue to inspire, support one another, and give back to the University community. While the conversations centred on investment strategies, the day also celebrated something far more valuable—the friendships, mentorship, and lifelong bonds that began at TAR UMT.
